Theft

lOn April 27 around 2:40 am, unknown miscreants stole one Bolero Jeep (ML-05F-7271) belonging to Fantain Shullai from his residence at Kharmalki, Shillong.

lOn April 24 around 5 pm, unknown miscreants stole Rs. 15,000, two mobile phones, ten Memory Cards and one Pen Drive valued around Rs. 29,000 from a shop belonging to Rocky Lyngdoh at Raliang (West Jaintia Hills).

Assault

lOn April 26 around 8:20 pm, unidentified miscreants in a Maruti Alto car (ML-05K-3374) assaulted Gavian Lyngdoh at Laitumkhrah, Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was moved to CH Shillong.

lOn April 26 around 9 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted Kiron Thapa (21) at Nongmynsong, Shillong. As a result, he sustained injuries and was moved to CH Shillong.

lOn April 24 night, one Salman Sangma entered the house of Roshoni Koch at Nokchi (West Garo Hills) and attacked her with a knife. As a result, the victim sustained injuries.

Vehicle found

On April 26 around 4:45 pm, one Maruti van (SK-01P-5373) was found abandoned at Nongrim Hills, Laitumkhrah, Shillong. The vehicle was towed to Laitumkhrah PS.

Murder

On April 25 around 11 pm, four unidentified miscreants in two trucks (ML-05E-5156 and ML-05H-4907) went to the shop of Betiful Nongsiej at Lailad Quarry (South West Khasi Hills), picked up a quarrel with Karbes Mawrie, a truck driver and murdered him at the spot. Cadaver was sent to CHC Ranikor for PM examination.
