Palatana hope for Meghalaya

 AGARTALA: Meghalaya which is reeling under acute shortage of power has a hope in the Palatana project of South Tripura as this will provide 79 MW power to the energy starved hill state. The first phase of the 726 MW gas based thermal power project will start its generation from second week of June. To draw power, a line up to Byrnihat has already been completed.
