A pillion rider, Litha Marak (24, F) sustained injuries when the scooter was involved in a head on collision with a Maruti 800 at Chasingre under Rongram Block, West Garo Hills on May 13 at 4:12 P.M. She was later shifted to Tura Civil Hospital.
One Rishan Syngai (30, M) sustained injuries when the jeep he was travelling in overturned near the Polytechnic Institute at Mawlai Kynton Massar on May 12. He was later shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A passenger, Ibakyrmen Sohtun (20, F) of a Mahindra Max sustained injuries when the vehicle overturned at Umdingpoh under Shella Block, East Khasi Hills on May 12 at 7:02 P.M. The injured person was later shifted to Sohra C.H.C.
In a head on collision involving two Maruti 800 cars, one Elfrida Ranee (55, F) and Wansyrpai Lin Ranee (15, F) sustained injuries and have been shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital. The incident happened at Lad Umroi under Umsning Block, Ri-Bhoi District on May 12 at 6:06 P.M.
One Prokiti Ranjan Pal (72, M) sustained injuries after he was hit by a vehicle while walking on the side of the road near Ganesh Das Junction at Lawmali on May 12 at 3.46 pm. Pal was later shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A TATA Sumo heading towards Jowai from Shillong went off the road after it overturned at Riat Iam Kynthei under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi District on May 12 at 10.29pm. The injured person, Sardi Challam (58, M) was later shifted to Nazareth Hospital, Shillong.
The injured persons were shifted to the respective hospitals and CHCs by the 108 Ambulances based in various blocks and centres.
