SHILLONG: Minors allegedly form part of the ANVC (B) if one goes by the photograph released by the militant outfit on Thursday.

The photograph also raises suspicion on whether the ANVC (B) has roped in girls to add to its strength.

Some cadres are seen posing with modern bows and arrows while a few are holding sophisticated weapons. In the picture, ANVC (B) chairman Rimpu Marak poses with the cadres and senior members wearing camouflages.

There are reports that after former ANVC (B) leader Singbirth N Marak alias Norrok X Momin formed the United Achik Liberation Army (UALA) after taking away many of the ANVC (B) cadres, Rimpu Marak began recruiting cadres to add strength to the militant outfit.
