SHILLONG: The UDP is contemplating to hold its General Council meeting to elect the new office bearers of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) within this June.
“We were supposed to hold the General Council in the last week of May. We had to postponed since many of the district units are yet to renew its office bearers,” UDP spokesperson Paul Lyngdoh informed here on Sunday.
He however informed that the various district units have been directed to complete the whole process of electing the new office bearers within the third week of June.
