SHILLONG: Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Dr M M Pallam Raju would inaugurate the golden jubilee of teaching science in Shillong College on June 7 at 10 am in the college premises.
The celebration is being organized to commemorate the completion of 50 years of teaching in science stream which started on July 23, 1963.
The programme for the celebration includes a number of events including an international seminar
During his visit, the Union Minister would also lay the foundation stone of the Shillong College Indoor sports infrastructure
Education minister RC Laloo and NEHU vice-chancellor AN Rai would also be present during the inaugural function.
