Jun.24Meghalaya Youth Foundation in collaboration with Mission Trust, Bawri Netharalaya, Shillong conducted a “Free Eye Check-Up Camp” at Markasa Village, Mawthadraishan Block, West Khasi Hils District on June 21 from 11:30 am onwards. Over 140 people from Markasa, Umjakoid, Umsaw, Nongkasen, Pariong, Mawroh, Umkrem, Nongriat, Mawphanlur villages of West Khasi Hills District were the beneficiaries of the Camp. Out of which, some beneficiaries were given free spectacles, some were referred for further Free Eye Medical assistance and some were even referred for Free Eye Surgery for Cataract patients.
