WKH District level Subroto Cup

NONGSTOIN: Lurmangkara Upper Primary School, West Khasi Hills will represent the District in the U-17 girls’ category at the State level Subroto Mukherjee Cup football tournament after being crowned the District champions on Friday. Lurmangkara UP School defeated BBC Secondary School 3-0 in the tie breaker to claim the honour. The tournament was organized by the Office of the District Sport Officer, West Khasi Hills. Rev.JJM Nicholsroy Secondary School and St Peter’s Higher Secondary School will represent West Khasi Hills in the U-17 and U-14 Boys’ category respectively at the state-level tourney to be held in Shillong. St.Peter’s beat Little Star English Medium Secondary School 2-1 while Rev.JJM Nicholsroy beat Jidonsingh Secondary School, Seinduli 3-1 in the tie-breaker.
