SHILLONG: A three-day District Level Workshop on Food Processing and Food Safety will be organised by Women for Integrated Sustainable Empowerment (WISE), St Mary’s Convent, Laitumkhrah, in collaboration with the Home Science Department of St Mary’s College, Shillong , from July 10 to 12, 2013 at Marbisu Parish Hall (Mawphlang Block) East Khasi Hills District.
The aim of the workshop is to help enhance the capacity of prospective entrepreneurs through awareness, motivation and training so as to build their skills to take up food processing industries as a livelihood support activity.
