Threat case

lOne Chunky Deb lodged a complaint at Laban PS that on July 29 around 2:30 pm, one Pradip Deb threatened her husband, Kanai Deb with dire consequences and also attempted to kidnap her son.

lOne Phelona Dkhar lodged a complaint at Saipung PS that on June 1, her son Derimus Dkhar threatened her family members with dire consequences at Muknor village (EJH). The accused has been arrested.

Stones pelted

lOne Dhanarjay Sinha driver of night super bus (AS-01AA-1912) lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on July 31 at about 10 pm, members of HANM and HNPF pelted stone at his bus at Lumshnong, NH-44 (EJH).

lIn a similar incident, another driver of a night super bus (TR-01A-1466), Raju Ghose lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on July 31 around 10.10 pm, members of HANM and HNPF pelted stone at his bus at Lumshnong, NH-44 (EJH). As a result, the handyman of the bus, Sardip Mia (19) sustained injuries.

Thief arrested

On August 1 at around 1:30 pm, one Halim Mia (26) was arrested while he was stealing a car tape from a vehicle (ML-05H-5868), which was parked at Bishop Cotton Road, Shillong.

Fake certificate

R.S Mawlong, MPS, Dy. SP (DSB), East Khasi Hills lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that one Nigerian national, Chinonso Prince Gorge submitted a fake Registration Certificate and Residential Permit purportedly issued by Foreign Regional Registration Officer, Hyderabad.

Arrest

Police arrested a minor aged (18) in connection with Laitumkhrah PS extortion case.

Cheating case

One Justice Kharbasan lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that one Andrew Marbaniang cheated him of Rs. 38,000.
