GVK employees honoured

SHILLONG: Chief Minister, Dr. Mukul Sangma on Thursday honored three employees of GVK EMRI – Meghalaya during the Independence Day celebration at Shillong.

The Chief Minister handed over a certificate and a medal to ERO (Emergency Response Officer) Alleansvon Sangma, EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Gilbert Vespar Ryntathiang and Pilot Jyotish Rabha and congratulated them on the excellent job towards saving lives.

ERO Alleansvon Sangma was awarded Best Emergency Response Officer Saviour Award for his exemplary presence of mind in helping a rape victim from Assam who was kidnapped to Dimapur, Nagaland on the July 16 this year.
