Assault

On September 2 at around 5.30 pm, one Gudu Thapa assaulted Simon Debbarman (18) at Naz Hotel, Bimola junction, Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and shifted to CH, Shillong.

lOn September 1 at around 11.30 pm, one Banker Shabong assaulted one Thrasing Khongsngi (48) at Laitumkhrah market, Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and shifted to CH, Shillong.

Theft

On September 2 at around 1.50 am, unknown miscreants stole one vehicle (ML-04B-6417) belonging to one Denush Siangshai from Wapungskur (EJH).

lOn September 1 at around 2 am, unknown miscreants stole one dumper truck (ML-05K-8016) belonging to one Renikton Lyngdoh from Mawiong Umjapung, Shillong. On Sep. 2, Assam Police detected the stolen truck at Lakhipur, Cachar, Assam.

Body recovered

On September 2 at around 2.15 pm, one unidentified male body was recovered from Jhalupara, Shillong. Necessary formalities have been observed and matter is under enquiry.

lOn August 29, one unidentified decomposed male body was recovered from a jungle at Umphrew (EKH). Necessary formalities have been observed and matter is under enquiry.
