Qualified Grade IV candidates to call for fresh agitation

SHILLONG: The Association of Qualified Grade-IV, 2011, East Khasi Hills is likely to hold another series of agitations in the next few days in protest against the failure of the Directorate of Health Services to terminate all temporary appointees.

“We have been sincerely requesting the concerned department to terminate the services of all the temporary appointees and accommodate the qualified Grade-IV candidates as per the merit list of the District Selection Committee (DSC),” Association secretary S Pyngrope said in a statement on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, he informed that the general meeting of the Association would be held at Jingkieng, Nongthymmai on Saturday at 10 am.

It may be reminded that out of 331 successful candidates, a total number of 140 candidates are yet to be given appointment.
