Exam dates
The examination for MIL/Addl. English and English subjects for the ongoing SSLC Test Examination for private candidates scheduled to be held on Sept 19 and 20 would now be held on Sept 27 and 30 respectively.
Function
The valedictory function of the national workshop on Maintenance of Opto-Analytical Instrument 2013 will be held on September 21 at 2.30 pm at St Anthony’s College, Shillong. Social Welfare Minister Deborah Marak will be the chief guest.
Interview
The Principal of College of Teachers Education (PGT) has informed that the interview for the candidates in the College of Teachers Education, Shillong, whose names are listed for Sept 20, has been postponed to Sept 21. Time and venue will remain the same.
Literary prog
A literary programme of Nepali language consisting of ‘Through My Window’, ‘Meet the Author’ and ‘The Poet’s Meet’ was organized by Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, and the Nepali Sahitya Parishad, Shillong, in the city recently. The programme was inaugurated by former legislator DN Joshi.
Clarification
In reaction to a report (ST, Sept.18), Police have informed that there was no incident of hurling of petrol bomb at the old police outpost at Ranikor.
