Missing vehicle

One Aiti Sohpdang lodged a complaint at Khanapara PS that on October 9, her Tata Sumo vehicle (ML-10A-8874) driven by Bishnu Rai was found missing from Baridua (RB). In this connection, Police arrested the driver.

Threatening calls

On October 9 at around 8 pm, one Richard Hadia received a telephone call at Ionglwit village (WJH), in which the unidentified caller threatened him and his wife with dire consequences.

Theft

On the night of October 9, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08D-1024) belonging to one Merilbirth G. Momin from Rongkhon (WGH). On October 10, during vehicle checking at Garobadha (WGH), Police intercepted the stolen motorcycle and also arrested two Bangladeshi nationals, Subho Koch (18) and Md. Ali Hussain (18).

Arson attempt

One Sillang T. Sangma lodged a complaint at Tura PS that on October 9, during the period of night road blockade, unknown miscreants set fire to one Tata Sumo vehicle (ML-08A-2906) at Ringrey, Tura (WGH).

Assault

  1. Eutytush Momin, the President of GSU Adokgre Unit lodged a complaint at Kharkutta OP that on October 7 at around 7:30 pm, one Hav. Uttam Kumar Hajong of Kharkutta police out-post, assaulted one Nengman Sangma at Adokgre (NGH). Matter is under enquiry.
  2. On October 3 and 4, one Kring Wanniang created nuisance at Domkseh village (WKH) and attempted to assault the Village Secretary.
