SHILLONG: JNV Mukhla won six out of the eight events conducted during the Inter School Block Level Tournament (Thadlaskein Block) in West Jaintia Hills District, which concluded on Tuesday.
A total of four disciplines were conducted for boys and girls – handball, kho-kho, kabaddi and volleyball – and six schools participated, according to a press release from the District Sports Office.
However, JNV Mukhla and Mookyndur Secondary School were the only two teams to reach any of the finals, with Mookyndur winning the two events – girls handball and girls volleyball – that JNV could only finish second in.
Mookyndur finished second best to JNV Mukhla in the other six events.
