NONGSTOIN: The Nongstoin Syiemship Memorial Celebration Committee will observe the 25th Death Aniversary of U Wik;iffe Syiem, Syiem Khynnah of Hima Nongstoin on October 21.
RK Syiem, Chairman of the Committee said that though there would be a bandh on October 21 and 22, the Committee has decided not to cancel their programme.
RK Syiem also said that the Committee did not want to oppose the bandh call in the State but the observation of the 25th Death Anniversary of Wilkliffe could not be compromised.
He therefore appealed to the people of Nongstoin to come forward and attend the death anniversary commemorations.
