Accidents across M’laya

l A pedestrian walking on the side of the road was hit by a motorbike near Loreto School in Dhankheti on October 23 at 10.25 pm. The pedestrian has been identified as Hordal Kharumnuid (55, M).

l A driver and the co-passenger sustained injuries when a Mahindra Zylo (MLO5J – 5487) heading towards Sohra from Guwahati overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle near the Sericulture Office which is located in between Saiden and Iew Mawlong, under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on October 23 at 12.30 pm. The injured driver and co-passenger have been identified as Dilip Chetri (30, M) and Chinmoy Kar (29, M).

l A Hyundai Santro (MLO5G – 4753) heading towards Shillong from Mairang was involved in a head on collision with a TATA Sumo (MLO6 – 6284) coming from the opposite direction near St. Paul School at Marbisu under Mawphlang Block, East Khasi Hills on October 23 at 3.30 pm. The injured persons have been identified as Anu Mylliempdah (29, F) and Anjoline Mador (40, F).
