SHILLONG: In response to the report carried on Wednesday about an upcoming I-League match in the city, Shillong Lajong FC issued a clarification on Wednesday stating that the maiden Shillong derby against Rangdajied United, orginally scheduled for November 23, will be preponed to November 22 not because of a clash with Seng Kut Snem, which falls on the same day, but because the All India Football Federation has sought to bring the match forward solely due to “technical and logistical complications” as the match will be broadcast live.
