Accidents across M’laya

  • l In a collision between two trucks, a TATA Sumo which was following one of the trucks, hit the vehicle. The Sumo was coming from Guwahati when the incident occurred on the Shillong by-pass under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on Oct 23 at 11:41 P.M. Lalming Chongni (31, F) and Nelson Hallam (22, M) were admitted at Shillong Civil Hospital.
  • l A pedestrian walking on the side of the road was hit by a scooter at Block 1 in Pynthorbah, Shillong on Oct 23 at 8:20 P.M. The injured, Rahul Kumar Yadav (13, M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
  • l A motorist sustained injuries during a collision between his motorbike and a jeep near the junction at Pinewood Hotel at Bivar Road, Shillong. The injured Ram Babu Das (28, M) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital. The incident happened on Oct 23 at 6:41 P.M.
  • In all the above cases, the 108 Ambulance, stationed in different parts of the State, helped in shifting the injured to the hospital.
