Theft

One Sudipta Sharma lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on October 23, some miscreant(s) had fraudulently withdrawn Rs. 25,000 from her account from the ATM booth at Polo Towers, Shillong.

Body recovered

On October 22, the body of one Lestarning Sangriang (19) was recovered from inside a truck at Nongjri.

Assault

On October 20 at around 9.30 pm, two persons, Iaishaniah Mynsong and Hep Kharsati along with their accomplices assaulted one Baril Kharkongor at Mawmang village (EKH). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
