India to bid for U-17 WC

New Delhi: The uncertainty over India presenting its bid documents to host the 2017 U-17 FIFA World Cup before the deadline ended on Friday with the government furnishing the required guarantees.
The bidding countries are required to submit written guarantees on tax exemptions for broadcasters and sponsors, foreign exchange remittances, security, transport and accommodation of players, and visas, among others. (PTI)
