HILLONG: Police on Tuesday arrested one Faster Wahlong (23) of Nongmynsong in connection with Monday’s arson case at Polo Bazaar. Confirming this, M Kharkrang, SP, East Khasi Hills, said a police team led by incharge of Pasteur Beat House SI KP Singh noticed Wahlong trying to lob a petrol bomb at another wine store in Polo Bazaar area. Wahlong fled from the scene after the seeing the police team. The cops gave a hot chase and he was caught near immersion ghat but his accomplices managed to escape. Miscreants had lobbed a petrol bomb at Pine View wine store at Polo Bazaar on Monday evening.
