NONGPOH: A truck was completely gutted by fire and the handyman was injured after miscreants hurled a petrol bomb on it on Friday night during the road blockade hours at Umdihar,10 km from here.
The Guwahati-bound truck (AS01 AC 4457) loaded with scrap, was set ablaze by the miscreants at around 8.30 pm.
The handyman of truck identified as Hari Lama (34) of Jorabat sustained minor injury on his arms. No untoward incident was reported from other districts during the night blockade called by the pressure groups demanding implementation of ILP.
