SBI branch
State Bank of India on Saturday opened its 94th branch in Meghalaya at Smit. Local MDC Lambor Malngiang inaugurated the bank in presence of bank officials. An ATM has also been setup in the building which will be the first ATM in the area.
Competition
As part of the vision of Central Ground Water Board, Sustainable Development and Management of Ground Water Resources of the Country”, a State level painting Competition for fifty students who got selected from School Level Competition, will be held on November 18 at Anton Hall, Don Bosco Point, Laitumkhrah to distribute prizes to encourage the students. Editor of The Shillong Times, Patricia Mukhim will be present in the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Meeting
The general meeting of the Association of Resource Person’s SSA Meghalaya (ARSPM) will be held on November 19 at Don Bosco Youth Centre at 10.30am.
