Assault

lA woman aged (26) lodged a complaint that on November 18 at around 6 pm, one Hammer Lyngkhoi sexually assaulted her at Tiehsaw (WKH).

lOn November 17 at around 8 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Earnestar Khongsar (30) at Urksew Wahpathar, Pynursla (EKH). He was admitted at Woodland Hospital, Shillong.

lOne Wishon Mawdoh of Sawlad village under Mairang PS (WKH) lodged a complaint that on November 16 at around 9 am, Phahstar Rani (46) assaulted one Deling Wahlang (42) causing injuries to him and also threatened him with dire consequences.

lOn November 16 at around 7:30 pm, two persons went to the house of one Hanram Pala at Mookyndeng (WJH) and assaulted him. As a result, he sustained injuries and shifted to CH Jowai.

lDr. Gautam Singh, M & HO of Maweit PHC (WKH) lodged a complaint that on November 15 at around 10.30 pm, four persons–Robert Rynshing, Marsiar Puwein, John Milton Puwein and Sig Puwein assaulted and threatened him with dire consequences at his official quarter.

Fraud

One Eston Roy Giri lodged a complaint that on November 18, Bankyrshanlang Jana Nongbet sold a plot of land to one Digen Wahlang at Mawblei, Shillong without the knowledge of the complainant.

Arrest

lOn November 18 at around 9:20 pm, Shillong Police arrested one Paulas Baruah for threatening, assaulting, and illegally confining two persons–Vicky Dey and Rahul on allegation that they had committed theft at Apex Bank Premises, Shillong.

lOn November 16 at around 2 pm, Police arrested two persons–Hilnath Momin (30) and Tengman Momin (19) while they were demanding Rs. 2,000 from a wine store at Aidoba under Ampati PS (SWGH).

Drugs detected

On November 18 at around 3:30 pm, one Kyrshan Blah of Ladrymbai Khliehwahdupon along with others detected six hundred grams of Ganja in a Tata Sumo (ML-04B-0009) near Ladrymbai Petrol Pump (WJH).

Suicide

One Minal Ch. Marak of Danakgre under Tura PS (WGH) lodged an FIR that on November 17 at around 4 pm, one Netherson M. Sangma committed suicide by shooting himself with a .22 gun.

Theft

One Pradip Newar of Bamonpara, Tura (WGH) lodged a complaint that on November 17 night, unknown miscreants stole four Laptop computers valued around Rs. 1,28,500 from his shop.

Funds misappropriated

On November 15, R.C. Momin, BDO of Zikzak C & RD Block (SWGH) lodged a complaint that one Ranjan Kazi, Secretary of Mathergaon VEC has misappropriated Rs. 3,96,950 which was sanctioned for a community project at Bainapara (SWGH).

Arson

lOne Nintu Kuri of Lyngkhat village (EKH) lodged a complaint that on November 14 at around 11 pm, he found that the door of his shop was partially burnt by unknown miscreants.

lOn November 13 at around 8.30 pm, unknown miscreants pelted stones at the official vehicle (AS-01-AT-4040) of SI N.D. Bahuguna, BSF at Dkhiah village (EJH) while proceeding from Shillong towards Khliehriat and the rear door of the vehicle was damaged.
