Tablets distributed in South West Khasi Hills

SHILLONG: Deputy Chief Minister Rowell Lyngdoh distributed 464 numbers of M-Tabs under Chief Minister Students Digital Learning AID Scheme 2013-14 to class 12 students of South West Khasi district at a function which held at Multipurpose Hall in Mawkyrwat on Friday.

Addressing at the gathering, Lyngdoh said that the tablets are meant to be the teaching Aids for students to collect information relating to their education.

“Since the technology has advanced to such an extent and the need to keep pace with these developments, the Government has felt the need to help the students,” he said.

Others who spoke on the occasion are Langrin MDC Manstudy Nongrem and South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Ripnar Lyngdoh.
