Nongstoin teacher scripts history

NONGSTOIN: It was a momentous occasion for Sibsingh Government Higher Secondary School, Nongstoin when one of its teacher’s became the first from West Khasi Hills to receive a PhD degree from NEHU.

Yondalin Nongkynrih, daughter of (L) Amos Kharshandi and wife of Balarian Shangpliang of New Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills and a teacher scripted history after he was was conferred with the doctorate degree by NEHU for her thesis, “Status and Problems of Elementary Education in Ri- Bhoi and West Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya”.

She did her research under the supervision of Prof. A Henia.
