Arms haul

Siliguri: In yet another major arms haul, 14 Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police on Tuesday unearthed 16 sophisticated weapons during random checking in a vehicle at Champhai -Serchhip in Mizoram. Two persons carrying the weapons, both residents of Champhai have been arrested. The weapons include one Light Machine Gun, 10 Assault rifles, four MA-3 weapons and a huge quantity of war like stores including 39 Grenades. (UNI)
