SHILLONG: The Working Groups constituted by the State Planning Board in August last, will convene review meetings on December 5 and 6 on the current status of various government departments.

In a release issued here on Tuesday, Meghalaya State Planning Board (MSPB) Working Group-1 chaired by SC Marak and Working Group-3 chaired by John F Kharshiing will review the plan, expenditure and progress of the PWD (Roads) and the Community and Rural Development departments.

The Working Group-1 will hold its meeting at the official chamber of Chairman of MSPB, SC Marak, on December 6 at 11.30 am to review the PWD (Roads) while the Working Group-3 headed by Kharshiing, will meet at the Committee Room -II on December 5 at 11.30 am to review grants-in-aid to the three Autonomous District Councils in the State.

The Working Group-3 will continue its review work on December 6 from 2.30 pm to review the plan, expenditure and progress of all schemes related to rural development.
