SHILLONG: The infamous massage man (Bah Jyllud), David Lyngdoh who has been arrested several times because of a spate of rape, molestation and theft cases and who has managed to secure bail yet again has resurfaced and this is a warning call for all the women folk.
It is reported that David Lyngdoh has resumed his perverse activities and created a fear psychosis among women folk in the past few weeks.
Interestingly, this character who has been able to baffle the police even has his own facebook page under the name of ‘Bah Jyllud’ with at least 250 followers.
In his facebook page, he even posted, Hoi Kiw ! ! ! Ioh Jyllud Kynthei Mizo ba hot mynnin,,,,Wuhoo!!!!!! (I got to massage one Mizo girl yesterday).
When contacted, East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang said that the police are also on a lookout for this infamous massage man who is out on bail.
“The police special team is trying to locate him,” Kharkrang said.
Reportedly, Bah Jyllud also known as the local Phantom manages to enter into peoples’ homes quietly and allegedly molests the women in the house.
In the past, many individuals have been traumatized by Phantom’s actions, police said. He usually targets those homes where no male member is present.
In one incident last year, police said, Phantom entered a house and spent time inside that house where he even fried eggs and locked those present in the house in the other rooms.
“He is different from other criminals. Phantom could take away someone’s motor bike from their compound and drive that bike by using its original key,” police had earlier admitted.
People have also claimed that the mystery man enters their homes in the dead of the night and would look around for food after which he would get down to business – massaging a female’s body – after which he promptly and quietly makes good his escape.
It may be reminded that few years ago Phantom had also jumped from the Shillong Civil Hospital building while police had admitted him there for treatment.
Bah Jyllud was also booked under the MPDA in March last year after he was arrested for a spate of burglaries.
