SHILLONG: The state Government has already adapted the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation of 1873, which facilitates implementation of ILP, if one goes by the Government’s booklet for the year 1974. The book titled “Collection of Meghalaya Acts, Ordinances and Adaptation orders for the year 1974′, has the reference to the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation of 1873 as adapted.
