The UDP District Election Committee, West Khasi Hills, has extended the last date of submission of applications for the MDC ticket to January 21.

The lucky draw organised by the St. Joseph’s Socio -Cultural Organisation, Laitkor, Shillong in aid of St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Laitkor, has been postponed to April 20, due to unavoidable circumstances.

The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers’ Association has postponed the state-level Central Executive Committee (CEC) meet to January 20 to be held at the residence of general secretary Kenneth Shadap at Professor’s Colony, Kharmalki, Shillong, at 10 am. The CEC would elect its new office bearers and members for the year 2014-2017. District and sub-divisional units would submit their details report at the CEC meet.
