Youth Assembly of Church of God from Thursday

HILLONG: The Youth Assembly of the Church of God (Meghalaya & Assam) will be hosted by Church of God, Qualapatty, Shillong, from January 16 to 19.

The Sunday service will be held at Student’s Field, Jaiaw, on January 19 in which the speakers will be Rev. (Dr.) Leaderwell Pohsngap and Rev. (Dr.) Borman Roy Sohkhia.

Elaborate parking arrangements have been made for vehicles coming for the Youth Assembly on Sunday.

Vehicles coming from Ri-Bhoi will park at Pahsyntiew Parking Lot, Garikhana. Vehicles coming from Jaintia Hills etc., will park at Anjalee Parking Lot, while vehicles coming from Sohra, Mawsynram, Pynursla, etc., will park at Shillong Municipal Parking Lot (Sohra Stand).

Vehicles coming from West Khasi Hills and South West Khasi Hills will park at Khlieh Iewduh Parking Lot.

Light vehicles will be allowed to park on one side of the Motphran-Qualapatty Road, Jeep Stand-Jingkieng Mawlai Road, Weiking-Mawlai Road and Weiking-Jaiaw Pdeng-Mawkhar Road.

Light vehicles will also be allowed to park on the KHADC office premises, Seng Khasi College premises and Seng Khasi Higher Secondary School, Jaiaw, premises.

The parking arrangements have been made in collaboration with the Shillong Traffic Police.
