JOWAI: Deputy Chief Minister, Prof. RC Laloo inaugurated the Basket Ball Court of the Chutwakhu Social Welfare Local Dorbar on Saturday.
The Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, FM Dopth attended the inaugural function as the guest of honour.
The Basket Ball Court was constructed at Rs. 5 lakh funded by the Deputy Chief Minister, Prof Laloo through his MLA scheme. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Laloo said, Jainita Hills has many talented youth particularly in the field of Sports and he hopes that the Basket Ball Court will help such talented youth to improve their skills.
Director of Sports, FM Dopth informed that the Sports Department has never denied funds provided such funds were utilized properly.
