2 held for alleged murder

SHILLONG: Police on Wednesday picked up two persons for their alleged involvement in the murder of one person at Thana Road. Police said that one unidentified male person was found in an unconscious state with injury on his left ear at Thana Road on Wednesday morning. He was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police informed that a special cell investigated the matter and arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in the murder. The arrested persons have been identified as Kartik Debnath (18) and Nimai Barman (25).
