City resident injured in NDFB bus attack

SHILLONG: A city resident Anmol Kumar sustained serious injuries when the anti-talk faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) attacked a bus in Assam’s Kokrajhar district.

Kumar was coming from Siliguri to Shillong when the militants attacked the bus and killed five Hindi- speaking people recently.

A relative of the injured informed that 18-year-old Kumar is currently undergoing treatment at a Guwahati hospital. The relative informed that his condition is improving gradually and he is recovering well after the incident.
