Pilgrimage
The Lum Sohpetbneng Komiti of the Seng Khasi (Kmie), Mawkhar will hold the annual pilgrimage to the sacred U Lum Sohpetbneng Peak on February 2 from 8 pm with the performance of rites and rituals at the heritage gateway and at 11 am at the sanctum sanctorum on top of the peak.
Skill fest
The Labour Department in collaboration with the Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of labour and employment will organise a skill fest February 7-8 at Government ITI, Rynjah. Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma will be the chief guest while Labour Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh will be the guest of honour.
Venue change
Skill fest programme organised by Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training on February 3-4 has shifted the venue from police parade ground to MP Stadium, Dakopgre, Tura.
