BSF Director General visits Meghalaya

SHILLONG: Border Security Force Director General, Subhash Joshi on visited Meghalaya sector on Tuesday as a part of his farewell visit and also inaugurated the new administrative block of Sector Headquarters Tura constructed at Dobasipara.

On taking over the Command of the elite force in December 2012, Subhash Joshi emphasised on maintaining round the clock vigil on the international border to maintain its sanctity and making good relation with the main stake holder of border management that is the border population.

It may be mentioned that the incumbent DG is retiring from service on February 28.
