SHILLONG: Police on Monday apprehended a minor boy (17) from Mawlonghat in connection with the kidnapping of a minor girl from Assam. The girl, also 17-year-old, was kidnapped from a place under Jalukbari police station recently. Police rescued the girl after apprehending the boy from Shillong. The boy confessed before police that they eloped. The duo was later handed over to Assam Police since the case was filed at Jaukbari police station.
