‘Missing’ poll aspirant returns home

SHILLONG: In a bizarre incident, a parson, identified as Fourly Dhar who wanted to contest in the upcoming district council, has gone missing just before filing his nomination. He, however, returned home on Monday evening, on the last day of filing of nominations
Dhar went missing from the Deputy Commissioner’s office premises at Jowai just before filing nomination for 5-Mukhla-Wahiajer constituency as an independent candidate on February 8.
West Jaintia Hills SP Herbert Lyngdoh said that police would investigate the matter.
A complaint in this regard was lodged at Jowai police station by one Arwel Gatphoh.
