SHILLONG: Police on Monday morning recovered one male body apparently that of a tribal (45/50) with multiple facial injuries from a drain at Lad Shyiap, Golf Link.
East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang informed that police is still waiting for the postmortem report after which it can be ascertained whether the person was murdered.
He also said that it cannot be ruled whether the person was murdered.
Necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver sent to CH Shillong for PM.
