Unclaimed body
The body of a female (70-75) which was recovered from Polo Bazar super market is lying at the morgue of the Shillong Civil Hospital and relatives are requested to contact police for collection of the dead body.

Programme
The General Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, H.Q. Belur Math, West Bengal and the pro chancellor of Vivekananda University will address a gathering on value education at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Quinton Road, on Friday at 4.00 p.m. during his state visit. On Saturday he will leave for Sohra to attend a gala programme on Swami Vivekananda organized by the Sohra Unit of the Mission in presence of Governor K.K. Paul.
Adventure Fest
The Sohra Adventure Fest 2014 was organised by Sohra Tourism Development Society (STDS) in collaboration with Meghalaya Rock Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MeRCMA), Shillong on February 15 at Dainthlen Falls. In this adventure camp participants was introduced the important of adventure activities in promoting adventure sports and casualty rescue training related to Disaster Management in Sohra. A total of 40 young people including men and women senior citizens were trained. The objective was to inculcate the spirit of adventure, discipline, fraternity and awareness among the youth.
