Ibandalin Mawlong, D/o DS Kharsyntiew and Nebellinda Mawlong, a resident of Madan Laban, has been awarded with PhD degree from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. Her thesis was on ‘Isolation and Characterization of drought inducible AP2′ Transcript factor gene and its functional validation using Transgenic’ under the guidance of Dr. Aruna Tyagi (Principal Scientist, IARI). She is undergoing training in the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM). Hyderabad.
