MPF elects office bearers

NONGPOH: The All Meghalaya Federation of Voluntary Organization (AMFVO) in its emergent meeting which was held on Tuesday in Shillong, have decided to change the name of the organization to Meghalaya Progressive Foundation (MPF).

In a press release issued on Friday, the MPF stated that they were an organization rendering selfless service toward the betterment and welfare of its people and the society with a motto “Mission with a Vision”. The MPF is an organization which had been legally registered under the Society Act Regd. No: E.16/4/ of 2009/13.

The new office bearers were elected in the meeting in which Robert June Kharjahrin (Advocate) was elected as the president, Empower Warbah (National Youth Awardee) as the coordinator, Kitboklang Nongphlang (National Youth Awardee) as the secretary general cum director administrative along with other members of the executive, administration and advisory Board.
