SHILLONG: Former Lok Sabha speaker and NPP’s Tura candidate Purno A Sangma has declared personal assets worth Rs 3,12,53,504 crore in his affidavit. His wife’s asset value is shown worth Rs 18, 26, 61,114, the two totalling to Rs 21,39,14,618.

His wife’s asset is shown worth Rs.18, 26, 61,114 crore.

These include Sangma’s movable assets worth Rs 61,97,504 and his wife’s worth Rs 3,98,62,168, his immovable assets worth Rs 2,50,56,000 and his wife’s Rs 14,27,98,946.

Purno has declared cash in hand of Rs 750,000 and for his wife Rs 12,30,000. He has no investments in bonds debentures, shares or units in companies. However, his wife holds 99.59 per cent share in a company SS Net Com Pvt. Ltd, which is pegged at worth Rs 48,90,000.

He has declared bank deposits totalling Rs 4,07,504. His declaration showed his wife’s jewellery is worth Rs 12, 00,000.

In the list of immovable assets, Purno has shown agricultural land worth Rs.10,56,000, whereas, his wife’s is worth Rs 12,84,00,00.

Comparatively Congress candidate Daryl William Momin asset is worth only Rs. 12, 50,390 with no immovable asset. He has declared cash in hand of Rs. 200,000. His election account has only Rs 1,000, whereas, Purno’s election account has Rs 50,40,000.

Momin has shown fixed bank deposits amounting to Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 34,500 for his registered society and bank deposits of Rs. 60,040.
