JOWAI: The District Election Officer of West Jaintia Hills District has informed that the General Election Observer Mohammad Afzal has arrived in the district and will receive complaints from the general public of Nartiang, Jowai, Raliang, Mowkaiaw and Amlarem Assembly segments till March 26 at Room No. 5 at Pinewood Hotel, Shillong, between 2-3 pm and thence will meet the general public regarding any complaints and grievances from March 27 onwards at Circuit House, Jowai, from 2-3 pm.

The General Election Observer for North Garo Hills under Tura Parliamentary constituency, Syed Omer Jaleel, has arrived at Resubelpara Circuit House and can be contacted on phone Nos. 09402391242 and 03659-295576 for election related complaints pertaining to North Garo Hills region.
The poll observer will receive complaints between 6 and 7 pm till Wednesday.
