Baby found
A new born baby abandoned on the road side near Wahingdoh bridge, Lawmali on March 11 is now under the care of Lawei Baphyrnai specialized adoption agency of Reach Shillong Ministries and any person having knowledge of the baby can contact Reach Shillong Ministries.
Raid conducted
Deputy Commissioner (Excise) East Khasi Hills, has informed that during their raid for the month of February, the Excise Staff detected 32 cases with a seizure of 46.960 litre of liquor and 12.975 litres of IMFL. Thirty persons have been arrested.
