Nawada (BIHAR): Bihar’s Nawada district is all set to witness an action packed face-off between rivals Nitish Kumar and BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Wednesday as campaigning for the impending Lok Sabha elections gathers momentum.

However, their rallies are separated by about three hours. Kumar will hold a rally at Nadriganj, about 25km from the district headquarters at 11:30am while Modi’s meeting is scheduled for 2:30pm in Nawada town.

The two meeting points are separared by about 25km. Though their hostility towards each other is no secret, the two leaders have had no face-to-face interaction since the split in NDA on June 16 last year.

While Modi is coming to drum up support for supporter and former Bihar minister Giriraj Singh, Kumar will canvas for a JD(U) candidate.

The two leaders have not missed any opportunity to take a dig at each other. Modi has launched blistering attack on Nitish, ridiculing his claim of development and also accused him of “betrayal”. Nitish has also given strong retort to the BJP PM pick, slamming his Gujarat model of development by reeling out negative statistics. (PTI)
