Another abduction takes place in GH

TURA: In a span of three days there has been another kidnapping from Gasuapara in South Garo Hills with one more coal export firm employee taken away at gunpoint by armed militants on Thursday night.
This time the militants targeted the coal export firm of Diliram G Marak located at lower Gasuapara.
Shortly after 1am, a group of armed men went to the village and targeted a house next to that of the village Nokma, not far from the BSF camp. They forced their way into the house and assaulted a coal   firm employee identified as Limberth M Marak who tried to prevent the abduction of his friend Mumtaz M Sangma.
While taking away the firm employee Mumtaz Sangma the armed militants opened a round of blank fire into the night sky to scare away curious onlookers.
Meanwhile, there has been no news on the fate of two other coal export firm employees who were abducted from Lower Gasuapara on Tuesday night.
Coal export firm manager Sankar Reang and his assistant Pransit Reang were kidnapped by eight gun totting militants from their camp site and their whereabouts remain unknown.
In Tura, police are yet to make any breakthrough on the kidnapping of a manager of construction firm Gautam Construction Limited who was engaged in overseeing the work for the Inter-State Bus Terminus at Chasingre, 7 kms from Tura town, on Wednesday night. Two motorcycle borne youth came up to the house he was asleep in and took him away at gunpoint in the two-wheeler.
